BrightSparks Artspace final session 20th January 2010

January 19, 2010

It is with great regret that BrightSparks have to inform you that ArtSpace (our weekly art group and monthly poetry group at 27a Access Artspace) will be closing down as of Wednesday 20th January 2010.

Unfortunately our funding has finished and we have been unsuccessful with various bids to continue the project.

We will continue to seek further funding and when successful will re-open.

Come to ArtsCafe instead

Meanwhile, ArtsCafe continues to flourish, and we would be happy to see people from ArtSpace come along to this instead. We would, however point out that this is run on a mainly volunteer basis without a paid tutor and with less materials etc.

All the best

Tim

Christmas break

December 17, 2009

27a Access Artspace closes for the Christmas holidays on Friday 18th December, and reopens on Monday 4th January 2010.

Everyone is invited to their Christmas party on Wednesday 23rd December at 5.30pm.

This means BrightSparks Artspace and Comedy Workshops will also take a break for two weeks (as 27a Access Artspace is our venue). The last Artspace of the year is on Wednesday 16th December, and the last Comedy Workshop is on Friday 18th December. The first Artspace of 2010 is on Wednesday 6th January [see article above], and the first Comedy Workshop of the new year is on Friday 8th January.

We know Christmas and New Year can be a difficult time for lots of people. If you can, have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. If that’s not possible, please take care of yourself.
